Arrive at Mandara Hut, your first overnight stop, where you’ll enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Day 3: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
Today’s trek takes you through moorland terrain, characterized by sweeping vistas of rolling hills and volcanic landscapes. As you ascend, the vegetation becomes sparse, offering glimpses of Kilimanjaro’s majestic peak in the distance. Arrive at Horombo Hut, where you’ll spend the night amidst the rugged beauty of the high-altitude desert.

Day 4: Acclimatization Day at Horombo Hut
To ensure a successful summit bid, today is dedicated to acclimatization. Take a leisurely hike to Zebra Rocks or explore the surrounding area, allowing your body to adjust to the altitude. Rest and recharge at Horombo Hut, soaking in the panoramic views of Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped summit.

Day 5: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut
As you continue your ascent, the landscape transitions to alpine desert, with rocky terrain and sparse vegetation stretching out before you. Trek past the iconic Mawenzi Peak, a towering sentinel of Kilimanjaro, before reaching Kibo Hut, your final camp before the summit push.

Day 6: Summit Day – Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut
Rise before dawn for the exhilarating summit bid to Uhuru Peak, the highest point on Kilimanjaro.
